<span class="bibletext version-kjv"> <span class="chapter-num">9:10</span> And there was a certain disciple at Damascus, named Ananias; and to him said the Lord in a vision, Ananias. And he said, Behold, I am here, Lord. <span class="verse-num">11</span>And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the street which is called Straight, and inquire in the house of Judas for one called Saul, of Tarsus: for, behold, he prayeth, <span class="verse-num">12</span>And hath seen in a vision a man named Ananias coming in, and putting his hand on him, that he might receive his sight. <span class="verse-num">13</span>Then Ananias answered, Lord, I have heard by many of this man, how much evil he hath done to thy saints at Jerusalem: <span class="verse-num">14</span>And here he hath authority from the chief priests to bind all that call on thy name. <span class="verse-num">15</span>But the Lord said unto him, Go thy way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel: <span class="verse-num">16</span>For I will shew him how great things he must suffer for my name's sake.</span></p>

<span class="bibletext version-kjv"> <span class="chapter-num">89:1</span> I will sing of the mercies of the LORD for ever: with my mouth will I make known thy faithfulness to all generations. <span class="verse-num">2</span>For I have said, Mercy shall be built up for ever: thy faithfulness shalt thou establish in the very heavens. <span class="verse-num">3</span>I have made a covenant with my chosen, I have sworn unto David my servant, <span class="verse-num">4</span>Thy seed will I establish for ever, and build up thy throne to all generations. <span class="bibletext version-kjv"> <span class="chapter-num">11:1</span> Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. <span class="verse-num">2</span>For by it the elders obtained a good report. <span class="verse-num">3</span>Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear. <span class="verse-num">4</span>By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaketh. <span class="verse-num">5</span>By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God. <span class="verse-num">6</span>But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.</span></p>

<p>Devotional Reading: Titus 2:11-15</p>
<span class="bibletext version-kjv"> <span class="chapter-num">2:11</span> For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, <span class="verse-num">12</span>Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; <span class="verse-num">13</span>Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; <span class="verse-num">14</span>Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works. <span class="verse-num">15</span>These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise thee.</span>

<p><span class="bibletext version-kjv"> <span class="chapter-num">1:1</span> Paul, and Silvanus, and Timotheus, unto the church of the Thessalonians which is in God the Father and in the Lord Jesus Christ: Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ. <span class="verse-num">2</span>We give thanks to God always for you all, making mention of you in our prayers; <span class="verse-num">3</span>Remembering without ceasing your work of faith, and labour of love, and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ, in the sight of God and our Father; <span class="verse-num">4</span>Knowing, brethren beloved, your election of God. <span class="verse-num">5</span>For our gospel came not unto you in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Ghost, and in much assurance; as ye know what manner of men we were among you for your sake. <span class="verse-num">6</span>And ye became followers of us, and of the Lord, having received the word in much affliction, with joy of the Holy Ghost: <span class="verse-num">7</span>So that ye were ensamples to all that believe in Macedonia and Achaia. <span class="verse-num">8</span>For from you sounded out the word of the Lord not only in Macedonia and Achaia, but also in every place your faith to God-ward is spread abroad; so that we need not to speak any thing. <span class="verse-num">9</span>For they themselves shew of us what manner of entering in we had unto you, and how ye turned to God from idols to serve the living and true God; <span class="verse-num">10</span>And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come.</span> &lt;br&gt;</p>

<p>Devotional Reading: 1 Timothy 6:3-10</p>
<span class="bibletext version-kjv"> <span class="chapter-num">6:3</span> If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness; <span class="verse-num">4</span>He is proud, knowing nothing, but doting about questions and strifes of words, whereof cometh envy, strife, railings, evil surmisings, <span class="verse-num">5</span>Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself. <span class="verse-num">6</span>But godliness with contentment is great gain. <span class="verse-num">7</span>For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. <span class="verse-num">8</span>And having food and raiment let us be therewith content. <span class="verse-num">9</span>But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition. <span class="verse-num">10</span>For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.</span>

<p><span class="bibletext version-kjv"> <span class="chapter-num">1:1</span> Jude, the servant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James, to them that are sanctified by God the Father, and preserved in Jesus Christ, and called: <span class="verse-num">2</span>Mercy unto you, and peace, and love, be multiplied. <span class="verse-num">3</span>Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints. <span class="verse-num">4</span>For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ. <span class="verse-num">5</span>I will therefore put you in remembrance, though ye once knew this, how that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed them that believed not. <span class="verse-num">6</span>And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day. <span class="verse-num">7</span>Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire. <span class="verse-num">8</span>Likewise also these filthy dreamers defile the flesh, despise dominion, and speak evil of dignities. <span class="verse-num">9</span>Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee. <span class="verse-num">10</span>But these speak evil of those things which they know not: but what they know naturally, as brute beasts, in those things they corrupt themselves. <span class="verse-num">11</span>Woe unto them! for they have gone in the way of Cain, and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Core. <span class="verse-num">12</span>These are spots in your feasts of charity, when they feast with you, feeding themselves without fear: clouds they are without water, carried about of winds; trees whose fruit withereth, without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots; <span class="verse-num">13</span>Raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars, to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness for ever. <span class="verse-num">14</span>And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints, <span class="verse-num">15</span>To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him. <span class="verse-num">16</span>These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their own lusts; and their mouth speaketh great swelling words, having men's persons in admiration because of advantage. <span class="verse-num">17</span>But, beloved, remember ye the words which were spoken before of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ; <span class="verse-num">18</span>How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts. <span class="verse-num">19</span>These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit. <span class="verse-num">20</span>But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost, <span class="verse-num">21</span>Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. <span class="verse-num">22</span>And of some have compassion, making a difference: <span class="verse-num">23</span>And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh. <span class="verse-num">24</span>Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, <span class="verse-num">25</span>To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.</span> &lt;br&gt;</p>
